Fear is a good motivator! Those who have’t had the pleasure of walking around with spirochetes in their bodies should certainly fear walking around with ticks attached.
It is SO hard to get people to understand — even my own family can be rather casual about tick checks, for example, though they have seen what I went through after being infected. Public education needs to ramp up much faster-
